Damage & Symptoms
Feeding damage by the larvae is evident by the appearance of large galleries on leaves, apical buds, and stalks. These galleries can further be invaded by pathogens and rot. Damage is detected by appearance of black frass on apical buds and young fruits

A) Mass Trapping: 20 to 30 traps are required per hectare placed
directly on the ground
B) Monitoring: 1-2 traps per hectare
