The caterpillar feeds on leaves and stems, but the main damage is to the crop’s reproduction organs such as capsules, pods, buds, berries, and inflorescences. This causes the rotting of the fruit and leads to fruit dropping. The large holes left o plant tissues make them susceptible to fungi and bacteria

Orchard:15-25 traps per hectare placed 160 cm from the ground
Field and green house:25-30 traps per hectare placed 10 cm on the upper canopy
B) Monitoring: 1-2 traps per hectare
