Damage & Symptoms
Damage results from larvae feeding on the fruit. The entry point often leads to bacteria and fungi causing further rotting. The fruits may either drop or appear water-soaked. The fly moves from crop to crop and is resistant to cool climate

Application
A) Mass Trapping: 20-25 traps with biolure (3-compound) are
required per hectare depending on population, placed 160 cm from the ground
B) Monitoring: 1-2 traps with trimidlure per hectare
